When to Clean Portland Solar Panels — The Optimal Schedule
Late May or early June — after Douglas fir and cedar pollen season ends. This is the single most important clean of the year for Portland solar panels. Cleaning in late May means panels are at peak cleanliness heading into the high-solar-output months of June, July, and August — when every percentage point of efficiency translates directly into maximum electricity generation.
