- Pre-rinse — loose debris (fir needles, leaf fragments, bird droppings) removed with purified water rinse at low pressure
- Panel cleaning — water-fed brush head with very soft nylon bristles agitates the panel surface with deionized water — lifting pollen, ash, and mineral deposits without abrasion
- Final rinse — deionized water rinse removes all loosened contamination and leaves no mineral residue or film of any kind
- Frame and gap cleaning — the space between panels and the roof, and the panel frame perimeter, is rinsed to remove accumulated organic debris
